What belongs to us—what is truly ours—and what has been imposed on us by the heteropatriarchal society, alien to our true selves?</p> <h2 class="whitespace-break-spaces">Inspired by the CCINQ’s invitation</h2> <p class="whitespace-break-spaces">to create a performance around the album <em>Hot Rod to Hell</em> by musician Man Parrish and gay porn actor and poet Roy Garrett, this piece weaves together intimate reflections—sometimes philosophical, sometimes poetic—about desire and sensuality, and brings us back to what we all share: the desire to exist.</p> Listen to the recording of the performance bellow (French only)

contenu : Vocal performance at Clovis XV gallery, Brussels Concept : Nina De Angelis & Patrick Belmont Nina De Angelis & Patrick Belmont se retrouvent autour d'amours communs: la poésie contemporaine, la musique et la performance. Ils traversent ces médiums sans complexes ni hiérarchies, et on peux entendre dans leur performance une lovesong aux textes éthérés, un opéra sans mots, les bruitages de l’ivresse d’une nuit, autant que des exercices littéraires d’un nouvel ordre Oulipien. Ils partagent le même plaisir de l’abstraction poétique et de l’immédiate joie procurée par la performance.
