It emphasis on the masculinity we project on objects and our behavior with it. The lyrics of the song is the answers Strapontin got after asking the question : what is manliness to you ? The answers : Being manly is having hairs, being strong, smelling bad, leading and knowing how to fight.

contenu : <h2><i>Created on a 4 days residency</i></h2> during the Godecharles Competition in Brussels, <em>Autonomie</em> is a precise manufactured replica of the space where the object itself is exhibited. It also includes a deck in which each card is related to a character connecting with this space and their inhabitants (jury, colleagues, competitors, the author). <h2>The piece encourages us to look at the absurd social game</h2> we all play in a competitive society and especially in the art competition (where this sculpture was made), and offers an opportunity to have a lucid look and laugh at oneself, while being childishly political. The hole in the ceiling was made for the occasion, inviting to experience what it feels to be seen from above.

From Facebook and Instagram to Grindr, Tinder, LinkedIn, and Snapchat, the game transforms the city into a playground for digital validation.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">A sharp critique of social media culture, the game exposes the relentless competition for attention and ego that can happen in the online life. In a world where individuals—artists in particular—are compelled to chase public recognition to affirm their worth, the experience pushes this absurdity to its logical extreme. La lumière vient se déposer sur les murs et le sol, suggérant par ses mouvement une danse que nous percevons à peine. Cachée, anonyme, la danse est invisible, secréte; tandis que la musique donne à entendre ce que l’on ne fait que percevoir. Afin de s’adapter au mieux au lieu qui l’accueille, Out of Focus est modulable en fonction du temps et de l’espace, cela permettant à leurs auteurs de nourrir continuellement la pièce avec de nouvelles idées. "
